Behavior Plan- Class DOJO- The students can both earn points and lose points throughout the day, but the goal is to end the day with the most points as possible. Even if points are lost throughout the day, the children have the opportunity to correct their behavior and earn that point (and more) back. The students will record their DOJO points in their agenda. As a general rule of thumb, the amount of points earned in a day will be as follows: 4 or higher- I was a classroom role model. 3- I had a great day with no problems! 2-1- I had an OK day, but tomorrow I will do better. 0-I struggled today, but I will learn from my mistakes. At the end of each month, rewards will be given to students with a DOJO average of 80% or higher.
Consequences for Inappropriate Behavior/Losing DOJOs-
Cougar Paw Program Requirements- In order to participate in Cougar Paw Programs, the students must meet the following criteria:
Open Lunch Eligibility Requirements- Student DOJO monthly Average 80% or higher

- The child will be verbally warned, resulting in a loss of 1 DOJO point.
- If 3 or more DOJO points are lost in 1 day, the child will be given a White Cougar Paw which will need to be signed and returned.
- In extreme cases, the child will be referred to the principal’s office. Please note, most circumstances will result in a loss of only one DOJO point; however more severe situations will render a greater loss.
- Severity Clause: For any Tier III, IV or V behavior (See pages 12-15 in the ONLINE Student Handbook), the student will be sent directly to the principal’s office.
